Suhail Rahuja is our candidate in Manchester Central. He grew up and was raised in Manchester. “As a Mancunian, I am proud to fight Manchester Central. This constituency represents what is best about our great town. But it also highlights what has gone wrong in our country”.
Suhail is a financial analyst and has invested in firms both in the North West and in the rest of the UK. “Supporting business will be a key part of my campaign. We have to bring small and large businesses into Manchester. Business is the bedrock of our prosperity.” Suhail has been out on the streets with our City Centre ward candidate, Yan Zhang, talking to voters. “What is clear, is the frustration with this Labour government. People look at the empty buildings in the City Centre and worry about their futures” pointed out Suhail. Manchester Central has some of the highest unemployment rates in the country, and Suhail believes this Labour government will do little to help. “How can Gordon Brown as Chancellor and PM escape blame for the economic mess we are in? It’s time for a change. It’s time to vote Tory”.
