Welcome to the Manchester CF Webpage
Manchester Conservative Future is the official branch of the Conservative Party for young people across the City of Manchester, including on campus at the two universities. As a society our main aim is to campaign for the election of a Conservative government and to get Conservatives elected locally. In the process of doing that, however, we have regular socials, events and campaign days all over Greater Manchester and beyond. In the past CF members have stood for Manchester City Council and many have gone on to bigger and better things in the world of politics. On this website you'll find out a little of our activity both politically and socially as well as updates on any upcoming events.
Max Dowling, previously Deputy Chair Membership at Manchester Conservative Future, was elected Chair of the organisation at the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday the 7th of December 2016. Max is currently a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Manchester, where he is reading Mathematics with ambitions to pursue a career in the financial services sector. The chairman-elect hopes to bolster the Conservative voice on campuses across Manchester and Salford, increase membership and aid the Greater Manchester Conservatives in the upcoming Greater Manchester Mayoral election. As he said himself, “We may be in the Labour heartland of the United Kingdom, but that is exactly why we have to do our best. Because we need to show the people of Greater Manchester that it is only our candidate Sean Anstee, who can lead the fate of the city to one of prosperity.”
